The IEEE journal TPDS (IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems) invites articles for a July 2010 special issue dedicated to the use of accelerators in High Performance Computing. Particular areas of interest include accelerator processor and system design, integration of accelerators with HPC systems (performance, reliability and fault-tolerance), languages and compilers, run-time environments and profiling/debugging tool chains, and finally programming models and algorithm analysis and design.

Guest editors are David Bader, David Kaeli and Volodymyr Kindratenko. Submissions are due September 24, 2009, and the full Call for Papers (including deadlines, formatting instructions and submission details) is available online.
